BOB HOPE THEATRE ACCESSIBILITY FOR GUESTS WITH DISABILITIES

Seating

The Bob Hope Theatre (BHT) was designed to meet all state and federal ADA requirements and is fully accessible to guests with disabilities.

Guests with disabilities or special seating needs should notify the Bob Hope Theatre Ticket Office of their needs at the time of ticket purchase. BHT may not be able to accommodate special needs brought to our attention at the performance.

Seating spaces for wheelchair users and their companions are located at the end of the first two rows and the center of the orchestra level in the box seating area. Please explain to the usher how best to assist you, if needed.

Hearing and Visual Assistance

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) are available for most performances in the Bob Hope Theatre. ALDs for the BHT can be used with or without hearing aids and are available for patrons who have difficulty understanding the dialogue, song lyrics or other audio programming. They may be checked out at no charge from one of our Head Ushers located at any entrance to the theatre. BHT requires an ID in exchange for use of the device. The ID will be returned when the device is brought back to the Theatre Staff.

Requests for sign language interpreting and other reasonable accommodations should be made with at least three weeks notice. BHT may not be able to accommodate last-minute requests.

Parking/Drop-Off

Parking for Guests with DMV disabled placards is available on the street level (mid-level) of the nearby Stewart Eberhardt parking structure (Located on El Dorado Street), and along adjacent streets. There is also a short-term drop-off area at the Corner of San Joaquin and East Main.
